Details:
2003 Kawasaki Z1000. It has just over 10k miles on it and
runs flawless. The Z1000 is one of the coolest naked bikes
made, it has a 1000cc inline 4 cylinder motor which pumps
out a ton of power. This motor is also used in the Kawasaki
ZX10R superbike. This Z1000 has great ergonomics, it has
wide tall bars on it. You sit basically straight up and down
and ride it like a dirt bike. This bike is comfortable for
all day touring. This bike has had some modifications done
to it. There are a lot of parts anodized red on this bike.
The shifer and brake pedal, pegs, brake reservoir cap, oil
cap and a few other miscellaneous parts are anodized. The
footpeg assemblies, radiator guards and frame guards have
been powdercoated black. The inside of the wheels have been
powdercoated red and the outside is shiny. The tires are in
good condition, front is almost brand new. The passenger
seat has been recovered in red to match the front seat,
there is also a dragon stitched in the seat. Looks very
custom. It has a clear tailight with integrated blinkers,
the front blinkers are flushmount and look a lot better than
stock. This bike runs excellent and looks custom. It has the
stock exhaust which looks better than any aftermarket and
sounds great.
I bought this bike at an insurance auction. It has a CLEAN
title but does have some minor damage. The tank is dented on
both sides. The front rim is bent but the tire still holds
air. The mount for the left side radiator guard is broken
although it still stays in place. The left side of the tail
section has a small crack in it, it is hardly visible
standing next to the bike. The end of the clutch lever is
broken off. The windshield fairing has some rash but has
been touched up and is not very noticeable. I have tried to
describe all the damage I can find. I have taken close up
pictures of the damage. Please check the pictures closely
and ask all questions prior to bidding. All this bike needs
is a new front rim, or get this rim straightened and its
ready to ride. The gas tank does not leak, strictly cosmetic
damage.
